Mark Curtis
Mark Curtis MRICS MCIOB is a Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Builder with 30 years’ experience in Construction, Surveying and Project Management.
After graduating from university, he worked freelance for various companies on industry and residential new build and refurbishment projects. Then in 1998 he joined Sedgwick, spending seven years as a Project Manager overseeing insurance reinstatement works. He specialised in high value complex fire, flood, and subsidence claims, and was also regional lead on Party Wall and CDM.
For the last 17 years Mark has held various positions in the social housing sector, the last five years as Assistant Director. He has led large teams delivering response, planned, compliance & building safety works, plus corporate real estate. He’s also led a major works/special project team, delivering technically challenging refurbishment projects to multi occupancy social, leasehold, and shared ownership accommodation, as well as listed buildings. In addition, he has 12 years’ experience of Private Finance initiative contracts, from bid preparation, through construction and on into operational delivery.
