Matthew Lonsdale BSc (Hons) MRICS is a Chartered Building Surveyor with a high-level management style and specific experience in consultancy and main contractor roles.

With 18 years’ experience in the industry, he has previously worked for Cushman and Wakefield and Atis Real, building a portfolio of knowledge and experience when dealing with various levels of personnel from blue chip clients through to sub-contractors on site.

Matthew joined Brawdia in 2021 as an Associate Director for our Manchester Office specialising in project management and resilient measures.

Defect Analysis

Defect analysis reports are produced for property stakeholders who have concerns about a single or number of defects to a property.

Examples could be cracks on walls, roof problems, damp penetration, condensation or subsidence. We can inspect a property, identify the seriousness of the defect, and produce an analysis report including photographs on the reasons for the problem and propose the best solutions with repair cost estimates.

We can arrange and manage remedial work too, ensuring the required repairs are done correctly and avoiding costly mistakes.
